Finger Size
Determining the proper size for rings takes some effort even when I can measure you in person. Our fingers vary in size with ambient temperatures and time of day. A two millimeter-wide ring may feel comfortable when worn alone but three such rings worn together in a stack may feel tight. Ring mandrels and finger sizing ring sets are not all created equal. All these factors taken together mean we may need more than one shipment to get you the proper size rings. This I am willing to do for rings I normally stock (see " ring sets" and "new work" pages).
I recommend the following:
Have your finger sized at a jewelry counter using both a narrow and a wide set of finger guages. The narrow guage shows the size of the individual rings and the wide guage approximates the feel of a set. If you already have a ring the proper size, have a jeweler determine the size on a ring mandrel. Finally, I can send you a plastic ring sizer snap-out kit. This kit is not precise but will give us a measure in common.
I stock these rings from size 3 through size 14 in whole and half sizes. If necessary, I can make the rings in quarter sizes but the delivery time will be longer. Some styles are less suitable on the extremes - a thin sliver of a ring does not work well in size 14 and a tall thicker style may be uncomfortable in size 3.
